Peak season:

The best time to visit is from the middle of April until the middle of June and then towards the end of September through to the beginning of November. Outside of these months the country can be unbearably hot or extremely cold. How to get from the airport to the city centre?


There are regular buses that operate to the centre of the city however a taxi is a much more advisable option. Shuttle buses are also an option which will take you to the nearest metro station. From there you can travel to the city on the train although again, it’s suggested to just jump into a taxi.


This airport is only around 5km away from the city and buses are available although they aren’t the most reliable means of transport. If you have baggage or just want to get to the city then there are many taxis outside of the airport you can jump in. Make sure you agree on the fee before starting the journey and if you can split the fare with a friend or two then you’ll find it a great option.
