I had over 13 hours layover in Doha. Qatar Airways failed to provide my child Essa 12 and I a hotel room for the night of September 7th. I was very disappointed that a 5 stars Airlines company doesn't fill full its promises for it's customers. We were very tired and couldn't stay at Hamad international airport 13 hours with a child at the night time despite the fact my child and I are carrying US passports. So, we had to go in our own way to hire a taxi cab back and forth and pay for a hotel room and food. What a shame! If we don't get reimbursed for our expenses about $250, we will never fly with Qatar Airways again.

It would be nice if the vegetarian meal option wasn't always tomato pasta. There are great middle eastern and Asian dishes.

My child is a picky eater and he usually doesn't like plane food so I brought pediasure so he can drink on a plane. Although I searched online if pediasure is permitted on a plane and it says yes yet Qatar airline made me throw it away. They didn't even bother to look into it.
