The service was fast, the car was the one I ordered and the location is convenient to the airport and the area in general.

The price was not what was quoted, primarily because of the excessive insurance requirements. This is a problem with all car agencies in Mexico. I suppose the agencies believe no one would rent from them if they honestly presented the real costs.

I have always trusted the opportunity of renting through your avenue, in this case at my arrival I learn that no vehicle is reserved for me better yet the lady said that since I did Not rent through them they could not secure the SUV, also made reference about her calling me and that she did not have an email on file for communication.... that is total BS...... they always attempt to get you to cancel online reservations and have you pay high rates that they get pressured on... Bottom line not having a car for me was total headache, ended renting from AVIS and much higher rates....

Better team players that can be greater trained than the lady behind the desk.... they should place themselves in our shoes: we are trusting a source for rental services and you arrive and no car.... Nor courtesy to find one for you....

I reserved a car through Kayak and upon arrival to pick-up they wanted to charge me 3x the quoted amount. They said the extra was for basic insurance coverage. Ridiculous! I will happily pay for insurance but not if it costs 2x the daily car rental amount! Absolutely would not recommend!

Staff was very nice, but they were not able to deliver a car on time. I had to rent from another agency at double the cost to make a meeting. I returned the more expensive car the following day with the understanding I would rent the auto at the quoted rate for the next four (4) Days. After I surrendered the rental from the more expensive car rental to claim my car reservation (WALKED ACROSS A 25´SERVICE ROAD) I was informed Dollar had elected to cancel my rental since they were not able to deliver the vehicle on time. The agent was willing to open a new rental contract at double the rate because they had few cars for rental. I was not notified of the increase in rate until I was due to sign the contract. At that point I was at the mercy of the previous rental car agency. I WALKED, I was able to get the former rental agency to allow me to rent the at the previous rate. I would strongly recommend anyone considering a rental from DOLLAR to get the final cost to include any additional insurance before taking time to fill out information for a contract. although this is DOLLAR RENTAL, I believe managers have discresion over such matters. I have an issue with their BUSINESS ethics. Dollar will not have my problems again. Maybe the May 6, Rating of EXCELLENT RATING CAME IN AFTER MY TONGUE LASHING.
