Cheap Car Rentals in Poinciana Park, Fort Lauderdale from S$ 38

It was really good, smooth and easy. The car was clean and nice, in a very good condition.

They accused us of damages to an over priced van that we didn’t request to begin with.

They charge me for another day because I was 1 hour late returning the car.

Travelling with a family of 6 we booked the rental SUV for noontime and when we arrived I was told the SUV would be ready in 4 hours which derailed our plans, we shuttled to the hotel. Ace called and said we have a van coming in but it would cost $250 more, after that I talked to a person from Ace that said if we didn’t pick up the rental suv today they couldn’t do nothing for us, we we’re heading to a concert. So I got an uber to Ace to hopefully get a vehicle 4 hours later. The vehicle was a dodge with a lot of damage. They also over charged me so I have to go back and go over that once I get my deposit back. Very disappointed in the way the rental went down and never had an experience like this as I’ve rented close to a 100 vehicles.

SUV ordered was not ready at pick-up. Swapped with a mini-van. Worked for us but not what I reserved.

*AVOID AVOID AVOID** The WORST rental experience ever. We took a chance on the bargain price and company due to some positive reviews for ‘Nina’ and ‘Alberto’. We had neither and this company pulls the typical routine of offering bargain prices but then a hard upsell/‘requirement’ of using their own extremely high price insurance coverage. Every other guest at the counter was having difficulty and explaining they have their own insurance. They insist on proof of this, that, the other and extreme details of policy coverage which are listed in your overall insurance binder. They won’t accept basic coverage details or any outside/3rd party reputable companies. We have literally used companies across the globe with a special travel car rental coverage and never a single time had any issues. NEVER AGAIN ACE. Shame on you and your tactics. Simply increase costs slightly to align with the market vs luring in with extreme low costs only to leverage this insurance tactic and scam. *Mark our word- AVOID AVOID AVOID!*

At my pick up at the Ft. Lauderdale airport, they did not have my premium SUV available and told me they were upgrading me to a mini van for $20 a day. No one upgrades to a mini van and has to pay for it. Why did I have to get charged $20 a day for a be chile I did not reserve. I should have been compensated for having to take a mini van. I will not rent from budget again. I did not like the experience.

I hate how the price is different from what is quoted here. Stop it.

Originally were assigned a Chrysler Pacifica, which we liked a lot, but there was an issue with the license plate so we were sent back to the desk and reassigned a Kia minivan, which felt like a downgrade. Also, the person ahead of us in line needed to be reassigned a vehicle because the inside of hers was covered in cigarette ashes. The desk staff was super friendly and helpful, but seems like the vehicle maintenance team has some kinks to work out.

Always my favourite and will be.

Pick up could have been quicker, waited almost an hour for a very dirty Nissan Sentra. Looked like it hadn’t been washed in a month.

Need a shuttle from airport to off-airport rental location

It would have been nice if Avis honored the reservation. They claimed the code was put in for a hard top and not a convertible as ordered. I had to pay an additional $107. I have notified the Massachusetts Attorney General.

They wouldn’t accept my reservation. They said it wasn’t reserved directly from Avis. I was there over an hour. I still don’t know what the final charge will be.

Awful. Lot full of cars but unwilling to rent us one at 11pm— but charged us for a rental when we didn’t come back to pick it up at 4am

Will never rent a car through Kayak/Hertz again. Had to cancel the reservation due to a death in my family. Had to call repeatedly to get a refund. Only after plenty of frustration and time on the phone was able to receive a partial refund. Not a good experience.

Awful experience

Had to wait over an hour in line to check in. They only had two people working and there was a very long line. When I finally spoke to a rep I was told it was going to be another hour to get my car since they did not have one in the type that I ordered. I ordered a wildcard which is basically dealers choice. After I expressed my displeasure in having to wait another hour they finally gave me a truck to rent. Unlikely to use them again. Saving a couple of bucks with them was not worth the hassle.

Waited in a huge line for 3 hours and 10 minutes to get the car

I called them to change the drop of location to a nearby airport and they told me that there will be an additional $350 fee for that. It ruined my last day of vacation. I could expect them to have some sort of a fee for this change but not that high

There were no cars available at all despite the fact that we reserved and paid for a car. There was a long line of very cranky customers ahead of us in the same situation. Lucky our money was refunded. Sadly we were not able to get another car that time of night.

We never got our car. We had to find and pay for another car from Hertz. I was on the phone with dollar for an hour and couldn't talk to a live person. It was 1am and I was stranded at the airport. Another 200$ to Hertz for one night, then back to the airport my first day of vacation to get another car from Avis. I am still trying to get a refund from dollar. It was a horrible experience. Hertz and Avis were great. I will not book another car with you, I will go directly to the agency.
