Yes both friendly and easy

I called the local desk to see about adding a day, but no answer despite 3 attempts over 5 hours. So I called 800-number and call was a bit cumbersome with the service rep and the price was a bit high. Otherwise great all around. Yay Enterprise.

I don't the blue light inside the circle around the speed . I want to reduce the beam down soft so the I see on the road . no way yo find the dial to turn down the blue light . That is all.

Everyone I interacted with was professional and friendly.

I found someone's personal items in the care, and so returned to the agency during busy traffic. A coffee spill near cup holder had not been cleaned.

They gave me a ride to Hertz

I had made my reservation using a debit card, but when I arrived to pick up my car, they said that there policy didn't allow me to rent a car with that card. Luckily, other places were still open so I could go get a car from Hertz - which was a great experience.

HYA Hertz were fine and helpful.

PVD dropoff HERTZ was disinterested and didn't leave the booth. Perhaps afraid of catching COVID from customers? Prefer to have car checked by a liver person, to be sure NO damage, as you're holding $200 of my funds for just this reason. Don't hold the money if you cannot be bothered to look at the vehicle when it is returned. No damages from me, but I am disrespected and penalized for others' drivers damages when you cannot even be bothered to check -- Lazy personnel!

Staff at Barnstable was very friendly and efficient. Drop-off in New York was a piece of cake.

Hertz was great, very friendly and helpful.

carrentals.com who co-booked the rental with Kayak, did not provide Hertz with my contact information. This caused confusion when they tried to call me to tell me the location I had booked the car was closed and to head to a different location. I could not be reached so I showed up at the closed location and had to then catch a cab across town to the open location.

This Alamo and the enterprise both need new leadership and employees. I’ve been dealing with a problem with them for over 6 months and no one is fixing it.

I have rented with Enterprise before and chose Alamo (not knowing they were together). Bad experience with Enterprise last time even though I have been a customer for many many years. When I picked up the car, nobody was there. I waited 15-20 mins. I was told where the car was, which was a good walk, and walked to the car myself and drove away. No inspection of the vehicle. The rental we received was too small even though we rented a Full SUV, 7 passenger-they gave us a Nissan Armada, which was a little dirty, had the new sticker still on part of the roof which we figured out because of the noise it was making. We lost the radio/navigation for awhile, then came back on. We had five of us plus luggage and lets just say the children (16-18) were not very happy. I believe I will be renting from a whole other company when I rent again. Last year when I rented from Enterprise, Plymouth location, they were not very accommodating and the time before that I had to trade that rental in for another one.

incredibly painless process from pick up to return.

Same old, same old. You get a cost estimate for the rental car, go to another site, and the cost of the car at the first site has doubled. Why is this considered good business?

Customer service was very good overall.

While the vehicle was clearly marked as a non smoking vehicle it was very obvious that one of the previous renters in fact smoked in the vehicle. I was hopeful the smell would dissipate but it never did over the 4 days we rented.

Staff was friendy and helpful. Car was clean. Location of agency inconvenient. NOT AT AIRPORT as advertised.

Thrifty was not located where advertised. Advertised that it was at the airport, NOT TRUE. Agency is located about 1 mile away from airport. I had to get a ride to pick up carand was dropped off at airport where agency was supposed to be and isn't. Had to wait till manager could come and pick me up. Very inconvenient.

Rental was for a commercial van and it was a bait and switch situation - instead of the van the only available vehicle was a Penske box truck. Vehicle had more than 100,000 miles, reeked of smoke and felt dangerous to drive.

There were no cars available when I arrived at the counter, despite having made a reservation 3 weeks in advance. The woman behind the counter could offer no time estimate as to when she would have a car for me. It ended up becoming available an hour and a half after the reservation time.

The experience was the worst one I ever had. They ran out of cars. I did a favor by taking it a day later so others who were in need could get a car - with the promise I could return after hrs since there was no way I physically could get there since I got the car late. I got there and no after hours drop off was available so after an hr on the phone with no solutions I had to change my flight. Will never use Avis again.

It wasn’t an issue with Avis, they were helpful. The problem was with Kayak as I requested a rental on an island and they rerouted me to another island without notice. I arrived to the island I thought I had booked on and arrived to no rental reservation. Kayak should understand the area they are rerouting to or not get involved at all. Unfortunately Avis will receive a bad review for Kayak’s lack of accountability and knowledge.

In person everyone as Avis was nice and helpful. They attended us quickly.

We tried calling multiple times and had to wait 30+ min for them to find our reservation, and had both the customer service rep and his manager argue with us rather than explain the price difference when dropping off the car in a different location. Thy were unapologetic and talked to me as if I was stupid. Talking on the phone with Avis was a MISERABLE experience.
