Staff were courteous. Car was spotless and worked well. Site easily accessible.

Limited hours required me to make arrangements otherwise when my flight came into Johnstown at 7 pm. THERE WAS NO RESTROOM IN THE SHOP FOR CUSTOMERS, A SERIOUS INCONVENIENCE FOR TRAVELERS.

Overcharged. Charged me for extra insurance when I specified liability only. Did not list costs of additional insurance on vehicle, only mentioned cost of liability. He said nothing could be done and thought I said “insurances”, when I specified “liability insurance only”. I will call both Hertz and Kayak to refund the extra charges on this ridiculous rental. Also, I’ve never been charged $1000 as a security deposit from Hertz. They stated it has to be that high because I don’t have auto insurance. I don’t have a car, that’s why I don’t have insurance and specified I wanted liability only. Surprise bill and disregarding my intention to simply charge more. Ridiculous.

Way to high a premium to pay to leave a car here. It’s not that far from major areas to pay such a high premium. Drop off area was not well marked. No one around and soon box area didn’t seem safe.

Hassle free.

Returning at the Johnstown airport was another laugh, but without hassle at least. A key drop and no worker on duty at 2pm on a Friday. Luckily I wasn't in need of any help...I believe I parked the car in the proper area...
