Our car wasn’t available so we were given an upgrade but had in this case needed the smaller car for good gas mileage The upgrade was a comfortable car but was filthy The agent allowed us to trade cars later in the day Because our car size was actually there but not processed yet We were only in Pullman 24 hours midday to midday to tour the university before a long drive to Oregon It was very nice he allowed us to return to the airport to switch cars but we lost valuable time we had planned out carefully by needing to come back in the middle of our free time the first day

I was upgraded to a nice vehicle. For a small operation they gave good customer service. Easy pick up easy drop off and a clean vehicle. Everything I expected and more.

My flight arrived ON TIME, as schedule, but the avis branch at this airport closed two hours before. I had a reservation that included my flight information. When I contacted AVIS's toll-free number, they simply stated that the branch was closed and there was nothing they could do. I was unable to rent from AVIS, ended up with a large taxi fare to the hotel and a subsequent rental at another company.

Hertz is located inside the airport terminal at Lewiston, ID so picking up my Hertz car was very quick and convenient. I had prepaid online, so the whole pick up process took about 5 minutes. Friendly staff.

After we dropped off our car, we discovered that our flight had been cancelled and we would have to stay another night in Pullman. When we tried to rent another car, we were dismayed to discover that there aren't any available But the Hertz agent went way out of her way to locate a car for us. We were so grateful for all her patience and persistence!

The fare has a lot of hidden costs. At the end budget double the initial amount you get from the site: insurance, windshield coverage, service fees, taxes… if you get 80$ a day, you’ll pay 160$ a day. The Car was clean inside but extremely dirty outside. I was also damaged.

The car insurance company was rated the lowest of all insurance companies so I canceled. The insurance co charged my CC prior to the rental then refused to refund. I cancelled my rental with Budget they did give me a refund but what a haste. NEVER again!

Very quick checkout of car, no hard sales pitch.

I had to make a trip back to the car to get mileage and gas reading. The counter person was unable to leave the desk to do it herself. No big deal, I just didn't realize that they'd trust me to fill out the return form.

The "off site" issue was not clearly delineated on line. They called a day before to confirm, and left a message. I called back several times, no answer I arrived at Lewiston airport and found they were off site, so called again. No answer. I finally booked with Hertz for an extra $100. Would have booked with them originally at a lower price if I had known.
