The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The check-in check-out process was fast and pain-less, surprisingly easy especially considering our current circumstances.

Just one trivial detail could have been better, the car itself could have been equipped with more usb charging ports. Also, I wish I had inquired about the ezpass before our road trip.

The experience was the worst one I ever had. They ran out of cars. I did a favor by taking it a day later so others who were in need could get a car - with the promise I could return after hrs since there was no way I physically could get there since I got the car late. I got there and no after hours drop off was available so after an hr on the phone with no solutions I had to change my flight. Will never use Avis again.

It wasn’t an issue with Avis, they were helpful. The problem was with Kayak as I requested a rental on an island and they rerouted me to another island without notice. I arrived to the island I thought I had booked on and arrived to no rental reservation. Kayak should understand the area they are rerouting to or not get involved at all. Unfortunately Avis will receive a bad review for Kayak’s lack of accountability and knowledge.

In person everyone as Avis was nice and helpful. They attended us quickly.

We tried calling multiple times and had to wait 30+ min for them to find our reservation, and had both the customer service rep and his manager argue with us rather than explain the price difference when dropping off the car in a different location. Thy were unapologetic and talked to me as if I was stupid. Talking on the phone with Avis was a MISERABLE experience.
