Truly, HERTZ IS THE BEST car rental company. I have rented from Budget, Dollar, National and my experience has been disastrous. With the only exception of Enterprise which has been decent. You pay a little more with Hertz but the way they treat you, trust you, WOW! In and out in a flash and also better quality cars. With the cheaper companies you pay less (in many cases a little less) but the lines, the problems the filling up forms, etc makes it Not Worth it!

Smooth transaction all around I didn’t fully grasp that the add on insurance offered was third party so you still have to provide your personal insurance provider at the counter.

The vehicle was clean but had a strong offensive perfume odor that was off putting. We used some essential oils on cotton to counteract. The check out process was quick, friendly and efficient. The price was high, probably because of Covid and demand.

“Computer wasn’t working” when we arrived. They sent us to enterprise to print and then come back. After 30min of confusion they then mentioned that although my reservation was for a Luxury SUV, they car they had was a std sedan. I walked 10 ft to Hertz counter and had a car in 8 min.

I paid deposit online it was supposed to pay the rest when picking up the vehicle. When I went to go pick up and check in for the vehicle it wind up being $20 more than I was told but it still wasn't bad

The telephone tree for both kayak/Hotwire and Budget were impossible. I needed to update my arrival time to five hours later and needed to know if the counter was open at midnight. You both could do a better job of giving customers an option to update arrival and to assure the customer that the counter would be open.

I’m still dealing with them because they want to charge me $150 to add an extra day at the end because I didn’t want to travel through the 9 inches of snow in Nashville. They make it impossible to talk to the location where I rented from and everyone gave me the runaround. I made at least 10 calls that day and talk to just as many people who all said that it was someone else’s fault in the company and that they just worked there.I wish someone would get back to me on this and help me figure this out. I feel like it’s a scam and I was used.

Prices for rentals are through the roof. Deposit on top of reservation was unbelievably high. Counter experience included an agent that seemed to think that these prices were absolutely normal and $1000 (deposit included) was normal for a 4 day rental Also, Mazda car we rented took us 4 days to figure out instrument cluster. Highly dissappointed

On Oct. 18 the Dollar agent couldn't scan my card. Asked to type in the number, he simply said, we don't do that. We can't rent you the car you reserved. The Enterprise agent six feet away, did scan my card and gave a polite explanation of why none of them could type in my number.

Dollar could spend the money to train their agents better with regard to common courtesy if not professional decorum.

Avis was a great disappointment! The bus I booked and confirmed severally through phone calls was said to be unavailable when I went to pick up. We were all set for the trip and suddenly no bus. I have called AVIS and they confirmed availability even a day to pick up. They just messed up our travel plans

The vehicle was well equipped. A Ford Fusion with backup camera and bluetooth sound system. The leather seats were very comfortable.

There were a number of body scratches and I was afraid I would get blamed for them since no one came outside with me when I picked up the car and no one noted the condition of the vehicle. It also wasn't clean, particularly the interior windshield.

They charged for me an hourly rate ($189) which they finally removed. Then I discovered they charged me for a tank of fuel when it was re turned with a full tank. Still awaiting a reply on the refund. Disappointing .
